Awwww. How awesome that your parents supported you. :)

Unfortunately, when you are making a drastic color change, especially from dark to light, you have to bleach it first, or it just goes all wonky. :(

I wished I'd known that sooner. But it's okay, I'm over wanting my hair to be blonde. :)

Blonde is just about the only color I've never been. every hairdresser I've ever had has told me I'd look awful as a blonde, and then one of them gave me some blonde highlights right around my face, and it looked so bad. It washed me out and made me look old. Horrible.
