LOL, and how do you feel after Monstrous?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Honestly? I still feel pretty vindicated. Because even though the deadpool was coma!Peter's idea, precisely as it went down, I don't see where there was ever any real indication of that prior to the big reveal that came from nowhere. It's not like Peter was wandering around all shifty-like and exuding secretive "I'm The Benefactor!" subtext that smarter fans picked up on.

He legit didn't know.

Yeah, I can see that. Teen Wolf is one of those shows I just ride along with, so I hadn't really given a lot of thought to the the benefactor might have been. I just figured we'd know when we know.

Awesome timing, OP. And now that the next ep has aired?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I replied above.

Can someone summarize why the benefactor reveal was so upsetting? I've read the wiki about it but that's given me no clarification. Was it that most fans liked Meredith?

Spoilers, including up to Monstrous, which aired yesterday

[personal profile] queerwolf 2014-08-25 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Meredith seemed to be the Benefactor but it was revealed that she had heard all of Peter Hale's thoughts right after the fire. He was in tremendous physical and emotional pain and was crazily ranting in his head and Meredith decided to "act" on his thoughts. She didn't realize what she was doing and thought she was helping him.

Huh... Welp, never would've guessed that. For once I didn't think Peter had any involvement. (Though from the sound of it, he isn't to blame... This pains me to type, fuck.)

I'm still deciding if I should catch up with Teen Wolf, but maybe I should finish up this season at least, to see where the crazy goes. Idk.

He's still guilty of other, ongoing stuff but he had no clue Meredith had read his thoughts and acted on them. So, he's innocent of something! ;)

It's not the best season, no, but I have found things to enjoy in each episode.

Haha, so he IS still up to no good! (The sky is blue, water is wet, the world is round, etc.)

OT but damn, why is Ian Bohen so goddamn attractive?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 11:47 pm (UTC)(link)
And when are Peter and Chris going to get their dilf fuck on?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-25 11:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Co-signed. Hell, even just some *good* fic of them. (I've read a shit-ton of bad Peter/Chris -- because I refuse to call it Petopher -- and very little good, IC fic.)

(Anonymous) 2014-08-26 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
linkies?

There's a disturbing trend nowadays to put them as just one of a thousand pairings and I hate that. I also hate when authors make Peter call Chris "Christopher." I don't think that's something he would do, personally.

Minus those up there...linkies?

I haven't finished this one, but it created a whole new "mates" mythology. It's a good -- or at least fun -- premise (Scott gets sent back to 1986 and meets everyone as high schoolers): http://archiveofourown.org/works/1172741/chapters/2388698

Really, about the only good Chris/Peter fic I've found is this one: http://archiveofourown.org/works/2075232/chapters/4513443

It too brings in a mate mythology and presents the idea that Peter and Chris have a history, but the set-up is that they have to appear to be an item so that they can get another pack to form an alliance with Scott's. As you do. It's reasonably IC.

Here's the definitive "Peter and Chris have history" in my mind: http://archiveofourown.org/works/487923

Ehhhh, I'm looking at that tag list and thinking it's probably not for me. Thanks though.

I, however, read the tags and saw that is definitely is for ME. Bookmarking.
