What are the things that give you a glow in debates in and about fandom?

For me, it's when I've successfully convinced someone that Thranduil's not a dick/evil/unreasonable/what-have-you or at least not as bad as they thought.

SPOILERS FOR GAME OF THRONES S5:

When some hater had a tantrum after reading that Jaime leaves Kings Landing to follow Brienne in a list of GoT spoiler for next season. They even said "but Jaime would never follow Brienne". This is fucking hilarious to me, because in the books that's EXACTLY what Jaime does. I love idiots.

When I have a headcanon that I feel kind of uncertain about, and find someone who independently has come to the same conclusion. Kind of verifies my interpretative skills.
