OMG this made me lol so hard. I've gotta remember this so I can try it out when I get less busy.

I actually like most American versions of British shows better. Usually, British shows (especially comedies) are so smugly misanthropic and vicious and mean-spirited I just can't stomach them at all.

Life on Mars is a BIG exception, though, of course.
