I don't think the people on tumblr are as open minded as they say they are. On some parts of tumblr you can bullied or even have someone attempt to dox you because they didn't like your opinion.

Yeah, I'd consider someone open-minded if they are willing to listen to someone else's opinions and see their POV even if they vehemently disagree. Tumblr people don't really do that but I suspect it's because a lot of the users are younger and you do tend to react more emotionally at that age stage.

Honestly, the website that has helped me most with that was the etiquette forum populated almost exclusively by people in their mid-40s and up, because I had to get used to the POV of people who were my parents' age instead of mine for anything to make any sense. Tumblr is full of people who see things about the same way I do.
