Yeah I agree with all of that. I guess my feeling is that using that language for it seems to often be an argument against the idea that those are actual bad things that exist - a lot of people seem to use that kind of language to indicate that people who object to things are making it up somehow.

I def agree that vilifying people isn't helpful and enjoying them is fine if you're aware of it and you can enjoy it. Just, you know. Those things were there.
