Re: So, epilators

That is weird, the product could be defective. Hopefully it works with another pair of batteries. But yeah, I have an epilator (the plug-in kind, but it should be similar to a battery operated kind) and it's pretty noisy, and the tweezers move on their own, so all you have to do is slowly run the epilator along your skin while it painfully removes the hair for you.

whoa, anon!

it says right on it it's designed for the face

Epislim is a small one designed for face and travel. I probably wouldn't use the same epilator on my face as my underarms/bikini line though.

Hey, at least it works! I find it lessens the pain if you hold taut the section of your skin you're epilating, and listening to music while I do it helps too, haha. But gods yes, does it hurt. But it's satisfying after you're done, so I guess it's worth it.

I used to do electrolysis and that hurt a whole let less when I took ibuprofen beforehand so I was thinking of that too.

That sounds like a good idea, I'll probably try that next time. (Haha, I love my epilator, but any tricks to lessen the pain are appreciated.)

do you use lotion after? I got numbing gel and after-epilation cream that supposedly slows the growth too.
