See the problem here is that you expect the crazy shippers et al to actually bother to research the mental disorders they like to throw willy nilly into their fics and headcanons and whatnot. That is not gonna happen, because the crazy shippers et al are way more interested in inventing reasons why their characters of choice should or should not bang than they are in being realistic or accurate in any way.
