I know I should talk to a doctor about this, but...

Do any of you have experience with these symptoms or know what they could indicate? I've had pretty weird muscle spasms ever since I was a kid, where my muscles would involuntarily move, especially the ones near my neck. I also have short breathing and get chest pains quite often. Recently I've been having fainting spells where I randomly will begin to faint and get the sweats in places that don't make sense just by standing, even in air conditioned places and when I've had enough water.

I don't know if I'm making a big deal about this or if I should get this stuff checked out. Any advice?

Yes. Yes, you should get it checked out.

DOCTOR. Now, please. (If you can.)

I mean, unless you're chronically dehydrated/undernourished, you need to see a doctor. And if you're not in the US/have actual money for it? Do it sooner rather than later.

I was dizzy and near fainting because of blood pressure issues, but really it can be many things. Personally, I feel like those symptoms are severe enough to warrant a doctor's visit - it could be your heart, or a neurological problem, even a tumor. I don't want to scare you, but this is not a scraped knee - I think you need a professional opinion here.

Those symptoms (random inexplicable fainting spells, shortness of breath, chest pains) definitely sound like something worth seeing a doctor about, regardless of what's causing them. I'd definitely advise making an appointment if it is logistically and financially practical for you.

You need to see a doctor. Unexplained fainting might be a simple issue of blood pressure issues (which can be managed with medication) but you could badly injure yourself if you lost consciousness at, say, the top of a long flight of stairs, or behind the wheel of a car.

Thirding it sounds like blood pressure issues. Definitely get it checked out. The sooner, the better.
