I don't know about you, but a 40 year old man dating a girl that was in high school two years ago is creepy for me.

They're both adults. She's a grown woman who can make her own decisions, even to date a man the same age as her dad, which will not damage her.

It matters because it makes it creepier. But I guess context doesn't help your argument.

Plenty of 20 year olds would disagree, but whatever.
