I mean, I like the idea of bringing her back into the story, I just...don't really have a role for her to play in the part I'm most interested in right now. I don't know how she's back, why she's back,if her being back relates to the other plot, or if it's just "meanwhile, Character A isn't dead!"

I guess the cool thing about this plot twist, to me, is that the other characters don't know the answers to those questions, either. So her reappearance is a complicating factor for them, too. Do they know she's back yet? How do they find out? How surprising is it -- is this a canon where resurrections happen from time to time, or is this the first one we know about? Do they even have time to think about it right now, or not? It seems like this could pull the story in an interesting direction without necessarily taking away from the part you're most interested in.

But! I don't want to make too many assumptions about the story you want to write, either! Maybe the best thing to do would be just to allow yourself an extra week or two to write and plot, before you update again.
