fine as long as you aren't making a huge deal of it in your partner's face.

That literally made me laugh out loud. My husband and I have in depth discussions about our celebrity crushes on a pretty regular basis. It just depends on how your relationship works and how secure you are in it as to what "making a huge deal of it" means. It's a harmless, fun thing. Why not share the fun with someone you're close to? lol

What I mean is that you should make sure the partner isn't feeling like you're more attracted to the celebrity than you are to them. And that if the partner isn't all that comfortable with you talking about the celeb, you don't constantly talk about him/her in their presence. Not everyone is as cool about sharing outside crushes with their partners as you guys are, you know.
