It's you writing him off as a rapist before he has even done anything that is worrisome.

Depends on the way you do it. What you've said thus far has you sounding exactly like the kind of bitter-over-men, resentful-of-children mother that rabid MRAs whine about growing up with in their forums. Those types of guys come from somewhere, after all.
