To see it, mostly. We were there one day last year in summer, but that was way too short - so we're doing another trip. In winter, though, so might freeze my ass off. I'm sure if will be beautiful, though.

I can't imagine being able to like...visit another country for a day. I can't get to the other side of the US in a day.

Well, it would have been a long drive just for a day...it was sort of a little tour we did which included Bratislava, Vienna, Budapest and Prague. All-in-all it was maybe a 2,5 week trip.

But, I can quite easily visit another country for a day. It's like a 20 minute dive to the closest border from where I live.Hungary would be a bit far, though.

Mostly I am just sort of nuts that way, though. Once uon a time, wen I had more money, I pretty much joined my best friend to India on a whim. But once you go into that "hey, I can do this" mentality, you realize a lot of this is actually achievable, and not even on a crazy budget.

Our little Eastern Europe trip had an 8 to 25 euro overnight budget. And food's dead cheap over there.
