Yeah he's playing Scott Lang, which as far as I know no one really had an issue with, but it was revealed that not only would Janet not be in the movie at all, but that she's also dead and therefore will never be in the MCU, and that pissed people off. I am annoyed about it myself tbh because I always liked Janet and she would have been a nice difference from the other awesome ladies we already have in the MCU.

(I know that the movie will have Hope Van Dyne(or Pym?) in it but honestly that could have easily been Janet, why give us a new lady to replace one that didn't need replacing in the first place? This is of course presuming that Hope will potentially become the MCU version of Wasp).

Oh man I want a new dance for my Night Elf, or at least can I take someone else's dance? I don't like my dance.
