7. Oh god, is that Kappa Mikey? My brother loves watching that show. I totally get it's supposed to be poking fun, but the whole thing looks like it was drawn by some 12 year old on deviantart or something :/ It's just... ugly. And even though it's a "parody", it's still not really funny :x

I'm not saying that the people who KNOW it's a parody should be amused by it, all I'm saying is that I'm a little disappointed that there are people who DON'T realise it is a parody. They're the ones I'm telling to lighten up.

I hadn't even HEARD of this show until this thread, and then I looked up some clips, and yeah, it's just bad...bad bad stuff. I don't find it particularly funny in any capacity, parody or not. And the artwork...god, why is it that everyone who draws "American anime" seems to think that anime hasn't progressed since Speed Racer? They're the only ones drawing stuff that looks that shitty. OK...Weiss Kreuz looked pretty shit, but still... :)

Yeah, it's pretty lame and unfunny. I mean, I try to keep an open mind about such things like this, but in this case the fact that it is ridiculously BAD and BAD LOOKING doesn't really help its case. All the western cartoons with extreme anime style reactions annoy me, but I just try to ignore that. I get it, they're poking fun or whatever, but it's still not funny and it feels like they're doing it wrong and trying too hard. Well, trying to hard to be funny, it's obvious they weren't trying to hard in the concept design...

And yeah, stuff like this isn't going to help people realize that anime/manga isn't just like, gundams and speed racers and dragon balls and pokemon...
