44. a) If you think that Orihime is doing nothing, you have to read more carefully. ::sigh:: b) How on earth were you able to make it through the Soul Society arc, then, with Rukia doing even less than Orihime, and being suicidal on top of emo and passive?

She didn't take her capture lying down. =[ Also, she's saved at least three people's lives in this arc alone--Orihime isn't fighting on the frontlines, but fighting isn't all that counts. She's done lots of things. She just doesn't save the day as extravagantly as Ichigo does.

Not only that did she save those people, two of those people whom she had brought back to life were the arrancar that beat her bloody. Those girls were throwing her around the room and she still helped them. That was incredible to me.
