No worries, your thoughts are quite similar to my own on the issue, as is your reasons for writing. I dread the day that a law like that manages to pass.

Me too. Hopefully, it won't pass the Senate, or it will be thrown out by a judge on the first case. . . but yeah, it's very worrisome, especially since I worry that "obscene" might suddenly get applied not just to minors in explicit fiction (which is bad enough: even though I don't write minors at all, it squicks me, it's a step in the wrong direction to blanket-ban it), but to anything other than the American porn industry standard.
