I thought you were my friend aluria cuz she loves Savers and Masaru as well. I think Masaru is the reason she even got into it, so you're definitely not alone.

Myself, I need to watch more episodes. >_> Going by just the first episode though, I like the spirit Masaru has.

Heh, cool. Most fans can't get past the "no goggles, not ten years old, so different from past seasons" thing, yeah.

I honestly thought it was a refreshing change. That's why I didn't watch past season one because the characters were kinda the same, but not. I dunno how to really describe it, but it was boring.

I have fallen out of Digimon so it's hard to get back into it with Savers (and I ain't watching the dub cuz I think 4kids got a hold of it, so... forget it HAHAHA), but Masaru is a breath of fresh air.

... I mean, COME ON, he punched a Digimon that was like 5 times his size!

... Okay. I'm gonna have to say, 4Kids isn't within a mile of the show. It's Studiopolis, with some of the people who worked on the original dub returning for the new show.

It's got some changes, but they're not too bad. I think they're doing a good job where it counts.
