But the mods are proud of taking two weeks. It's a hard job, and they're too busy to mod what they said they would. And can you blame them for refusing to give up their power when they can no longer fulfill the responsibilities it entails?

Why would they change that which they don't see a problem with?

Some games take forever, and if the players are willing to deal with that wait, then the players are willing to deal with it. The mods aren't forcing them to apply to the game. It does suck if the player doesn't understand the wait times beforehand, but I digress.

Denying that current players are not happy with things at all is stirring up more drama than necessary, and the only mod I've seen being responsible about it was ruxis.

It's better to say nothing at all than to risk the possibility of further damaging your game's reputation, right?
