I don't see why it's disgusting.

I mean, some of the biggest ships in fandoms I've been in are real girl/imaginary friend, if you believe the screenwriters.

(Jareth/Sarah from "Labyrinth", Tarrant/Alice from "Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland", Beetlejuice/Lydia from "Beetlejuice" (cartoon more so, but some ship the movie versions, too)...)

I have a love/hate relationship with the ending. Love that Lizzie did the unusual thing for most movies and basically chose herself. And I like that if Fred couldn't be with Lizzie that he ended up being Mickey's daughter's new friend.

Hate that Fred couldn't have been with Lizzie. Hate that Mickey didn't believe his daughter about her friend not being pretend, considering his past with Lizzie. And I really hate that there was no mention of Lizzie's father after he (presumably) divorced her mother.
