Mostly, the DVD format edited out some of the tree scene, and any line that contained the word "damn." For me, it was most notable in the scene where Molly's giving the Unicorn hell for not showing up back when she was still an innocent virgin, but there are a couple of other scenes where it's a bit jarring. Not as jarring as Mia Farrow's singing, but still jarring.

I love Mia Farrow's singing. She's an injured, frightened animal singing about losing her sense of who she is. It should sound raw and uncomfortable.

1. "Raw and uncomfortable" doesn't have to be the same as "woefully out of key."

2. "Now That I'm A Woman" is just too damn long, even if it had been performed well.

nayrt

I laughed. It's been a while since I last watched my copy of the movie, but good lord, the singing was atrocious. That is something you cannot forget.

America's bits were alright. I liked them.

I don't think it is too long. In the book, she sings. Especially with Leer as singing makes her forget her pain. I like the voice, not everyone has a magical singing voice, so it's nice to see someone be a bit more normal.

Oh, wow, usually I'd agree but no. She's just really really bad. It made the speakers on my old television crack and hum if I didn't turn it down when she started.
