It really is bringing the worst out people, isn't it? And it's going for much longer than I expected.

What's with gamergate, actually? I've heard about it but nothing specific.

Basically, the people from the anti-Quinn side have been calling for ethics in gaming journalism (which is needed, ngl) and people from the Quinn side of things are upset about harrassment towards Quinn and Anita (which shouldn't be happening, yeah) are both are misunderstanding each other's points so spectularly it's amazing. Most of it is happening on twitter which only makes the misunderstandings even more amazing.

There was even a bit where a bunch of different gaming news site put out pieces at once on how the term "gamer" is over and how anyone how uses it is a essentially a misogynist virgin neckbeard. It's incredible.

Oooh, okay. I thought everyone was talking about the website Gamersgate and I was so confused, haha. So it's what people have been calling the whole drama.

I saw a bit of the gamer stuff. Christ, way to deflect criticism guys.
