Re: Imaginary Friends
My dad used to like to try to scare me, and we used to go to the video store every weekend and he'd point out the horror movie characters on the posters and go "Look at him! Imagine that coming out from under your bed at night! Isn't that scary?" But I wanted to look really tough and cool, so I just puffed up and went "Nuh-uh, Pinhead is COOL!"
So I had an imaginary friend partner-in-crime. I didn't actually ever misbehave in any way, but I liked to imagine that I was some kind of cool, tough rebel with a cool partner-in-crime. He was the muscle and I was the brains :P
