My 81 year old grandmother, a Whovian since it came to PBS with the Fourth Doctor, who I still buy jelly babies for if I find them, quit watching under Matt Smith's Doctor because she could never understand what the hell he was doing, he was so all over the place. And for that I will never forgive him. (Right now she's in rehab for a broken pelvic bone and the jerks there don't have BBCAmerica so we have to wait till she gets out to watch Capaldi. I think she'll like him. I did get her to watch the 50th Anniversary special and she was super happy to see Tom Baker.)
