That's not the point, nor is it the fault of skinny women. If we have to proclaim "feminism" by throwing other women under the bus, for reasons totally outside their control, then that's not something I want to have any part of.

i agree with this, i dont like the trend of skinny shaming. nobody needs to shame anybody else in order to lift themselves up. body positivity shouldnt exclude anybody. a lot of folks who are unnaturally thin cant help it, either due to an illness/eating disorder or just their metabolism or what have you. and i hear all the time how people gotta comment on others' bodies, fat or thin, like just keep the negativity to yourselves u know

And there's even some people (like me) who are neither obese nor unnaturally skinny. We don't show up in "skinny-is-best" media (too large), but neither do we show up in "body-positive" media (too small). We don't really get much notice from either side. It's bizarre.

I agree, and many in that group aren't even "unnaturally" thin. They're perfectly naturally built very thin, and it's no more right or wrong than any other body type.
