I've mentioned Century City before, but I'm not entirely certain it was ever a workable idea as a TV show. "Law firm in the future takes on cases involving new technology" seems more fitting to a series of novels.

As for shows that could probably work, Jake 2.0 deserves another shot. Most shows that go the "My new superpowers are slowly killing me!" route make it a distant specter--for Jake, his physical and mental degradation was a serious threat, which created an interesting contrast with the wish-fulfillment aspects.

But Jake because Auggie in Covert Affairs, and his nanobites caused his blindness!

...At least, I think that's the storyline my boss came up with when C.A. started.
