Yeah, this. I remember when they un-cancelled Due South. At first it was all "yay Benny and Ray are back together", but then they dialled up all the wackiness and instead of being a light-hearted drama it turned into a surreal comedy, the last episode was a total travesty in that regard, with a fake Ray.
