These are all just wrong. Incorrect. I realize not everyone is perfect at English writing, but these are mistakes that my students would have made, not native speakers.

The first one you could dismiss as changing the sentencw then poor editing. The third as bad grammar on its own. But the 2nd does scream ESL, it's true.

Doesn't mean the OP reads fic in their original language though.
