One show on its own wouldn't. It isn't just one show though, is it. It is one show amongst a lot. We've had the Tomorrow People (now canned), the Fantastic Four-Chronicle movie, Lucy, and there have been a few other shows already, like that one with Chiklis about a family with superpowers, and loads more. Its a drip-drip-drip of always one more show.

Ah, I didn't remember half of those, and I can see your point but at the same time...look at how many procedural shows are on television. There are plenty of genres that are doing the same thing. True, not many of them are that successful, but shows being canceled or being ill-received isn't new at this point.

Hell, I didn't even realize Tomorrow People was a show about superheroes... (I only heard the name and for some reason was under the impression it involved aliens. Oops.)

The fact that a lot of your examples pretty much failed immediately implies that there's not going to be an oversaturation, to me. Because these things are not taking mind share away from Marvel movies. No one is getting hyped for them because they just love all superheroes. People hardly think about them at all, and then they still go out and watch Marvel movies.
