Yes because she's portraying positive black female sexuality -- allowing black women to own their sexuality and be attractive. According to tumblr.

Personally I don't like or dislike her. I think she's pretty. Some of her songs are okay. She's just not on my radar.

ehh. I mean maybe she is doing those things, but she's also done enough music that's pretty anti-feminist for her to just not be a great choice for "feminist icon" imo.

And for the most part, same. I like a couple things she's done, really dislike some other stuff she's done, and don't really pay attention to her beyond that.
