I don't see anything harmful in thinking two people have great chemistry and/or would 'look good together'. 'Passively' shipping people isn't that big a deal imo. I love watching celeb interviews; it's fun when you get two together that play off each other well. Chris and Zach certainly have that.

I guess I just imagine how I would feel in their places and I'm intensely creeped out. Thinking two people look good together is one thing. But reading/writing explicit fan fiction of them just seems really…violating. I enjoy it, but I feel guilty about it even though I know, logically, that they're pretty much ignorant of my activities and it has no impact on their lives.

The weird thing is that I don't have a problem when other people do it. But when I do it, I just end up feeling so ashamed of myself.

Hmm, well... I kind of get that? Like, I don't think you should feel like a terrible person, but I understand feeling guilty.

Though, tbh most RPF seems to be people writing about 'characters' in wild AU's that look like the actors in question but probably aren't very accurate as far as personality goes, so that makes it a little less personal?

Glad you have enough morality left to feel ashamed. Most people don't anymore it seems. They're celebrities, therefore it's ok to violate them with words and manips. They put themselves out there in the public so they should expect it is what so many say to justify their lack of care.

Oh blah, go home. Nobody likes you here. Jesus.

Jesus doesn't love me either. Boo hoo.

What a brilliant counterpoint. Are you on a debate team?
