Once I sumbitted a secret that I thought was stupid, and I avoided the fs post for days, but then out of boredom/curiosity I checked the comment thread for it, and it was full of so many interesting and supportive comments. Fs, you can be annoying, but you can also be such a great place too.

If I think my secret will generate wank, I'll avoid it. One time I submitted a secret about resenting other pairings and I avoided that thread like the plague.

Awww, I like reading the comments to my secrets. They're usually amusing. (I get feeling nervous about them, though. Sometimes it's just nice to share.)

I'm the opposite: I eagerly wait for my secrets to show up and read all the comments. I'm usually pleased with the majority of the comments, although I have occasionally been disappointed. I save the links to the comment threads on all my secrets so I can find them again. The first few secrets I submitted I didn't do this, but I wish I had!

It depends on the secret. If I think it's going to be wanky, I avoid it. If not, I'll dive right on in!

I had to give up on reading the comments for my secrets as my own compromise for submitting secrets. Some folks can be surprisingly wanky, petty, or purposely dense. I am not here for their bs, so I just let whatever I have to say off of my chest and move on.
