I can buy the last one for Teyla/Elizabeth. But lbr, Rodney would just eat all the gummy worms without thinking John wanted any, and if the movie got paused it would be because John got irritated and had to go get himself different snacks and by the time he got back, Rodney would be doing something completely different and snap about John taking too long.

Yes, there is no way in hell Rodney would feed John gummy worms. Rodney would hog them, and if John wanted any he would have to wrestle Rodney for them. (Or threaten to wrestle Rodney for them, because Rodney would probably be too worried about bruising to actually go through with it.)
