Ah.

I honestly don't think she's above crit either personally. I'm just bugged by the whole "celebrating her death right after it happened" thing. That's tacky.

Also I was bugged by that one comment mostly because it was kind of fucked up. *shrug* the whole air of "if you've done something shitty (and you probably have unless you're Fred Rogers) you owe it the world to die" just ...erk.

Though I probably look stupid making a whole thread about it. Sorry.

dude, I agree tho. Celebrating human death has always been gross and wtf-y for me. Like I could not even get the people who celebrated bin Laden's death a few years ago - I was glad that this era of terror had ended, and I'm glad it happened in the sense that it was probably the only real solution, but it felt more like a necessary evil. All the "haha suck it piss on your grave" etc. etc. comments bothered me because it showed such a callous attitude towards human life.
