Re: Social justice warrior versus...?
Social Justice Activist: Will go outside and work with the community and the government to make physical changes for the better for all citizens.
Social Justice Warrior: Has used the phrase, "It's not my job to educate you. Do it yourself." Will often regurgitate only talking points and never go deeper beyond that.
Social Justice Activist: Takes it upon themselves to provide information may it be online or offline on issues they believe in. They incredibly knowledgeable on the issues having done their homework.
Basically, I find SJW incredibly lazy. Not wanting to do much of anything besides making blog posts or the occasional poster to stand at a rally (that they will document heavily on their social media accounts with pictures of themselves so that everyone knows that, "HEY! I AM THE GOOD GUY! I AM SO MUCH MORE MORALLY SUPERIOR THAN YOU!")
Social Justice Activists are incredibly hardworking. They are the ones going out setting voting registry tables in neighborhoods with poor voting numbers no matter what the weather for days on end. They are the ones who writing to their governments and even going down to city hall to talk to official to work out issues they think is worthy. They are the ones who are setting up soup kitchens, animal shelters, homeless shelters, meals on wheels, abuse shelters, mostly out of their pocket because they believe in the cause.
While a SJW will say, "There are not enough POCs in movies!" and do nothing about it, a SJA will be out there finding money, writers, directors and actors to create a shoe string production company so that they can create movies will more roles and behind the scenes jobs for POCs.
Bottom line, SJW = inactive SJA = active.
