(Anonymous) 2014-09-05 12:19 am (UTC)(link)I adore Howard, and I mean the pre-Bernadette, early seasons version. I don't see any real "character development" or "growth" on this show, just a greater emphasis on shippy stuff and a lack of continuity. I detest Bernadette and all the canon pairings.
I don't see how anyone can hate him. He says some mildly inappropriate things but he'd never do something truly malicious or harmful towards a woman. He's all talk, that's the whole point.
BBT jumped the shark years ago and I have no interest in anything beyond Season 3-ish.

(Anonymous) 2014-09-05 06:42 am (UTC)(link)Pre-Bernadette Howard was already funny and mostly just all talk. He also seemed to be the most down-to-earth and honest of the guys. Unlike Leonard he never claimed to be a "nice guy".
