That's a really interesting perspective to hear from.
I always liked the spirituality of Starclan. They were all just cats that had died before you. I didn't really see them as a God figure, because they fought amongst each other a fair amount and were pretty flawed. I liked the idea of your dead friends and family and ancestors getting to be the ones to guide you.
Of course, raised as a godless heathen child, I often completely missed incredibly blatant religious allusions in books I read. I can completely understand how someone raised with religion as a heavy aspect of their lives would see things differently.
