At least Sheldon isn't a creepy pervert.

No. He's just emotionally abusive to his partner.

Are you an idiot? My brother has Asperger syndrome and his lack of empathy is not abuse towards others, it's something his brain can't process and that doesn't make him a bad person. In fact, most people who know Aspergers tend to abuse them, not the contrary. It's like telling someone deaf they are rude for not appreciating music.

Get off your damn tumblr and start reading something useful instead of jumping into the SJW bandwagon when you're going against something without a good damn argument.

And this comes from a feminist and gender studies graduate.

nayrt - Sheldon's not emotionally abusive because he lacks empathy toward his partner (more accurately, toward everyone), he's emotionally abusive because he doesn't make an effort to manage his behavior. Rather the opposite, in fact. Sheldon expects other people to conform to how he sees the world, and behave accordingly. A prime example is because Sheldon doesn't see the value in physical contact, and both verbal and physical affection, he doesn't show his partner any (unless heavily prompted), when he does it's perfunctory, and he refuses to accept any from his partner or recognize her need for the things he doesn't value. (Now Amy's behavior is also weird and gross, but that's a whole 'nother kettle of fish.)

I can see why the whole Asperger's = abusive touched a nerve, but there are key things you're missing about Sheldon's character and how he behaves towards others that can indeed be characterized as emotionally abusive, but that's a separate issue from whatever condition he may or may not have.
