PC gaming is great too, not knocking it or anything (I love the freedom that comes with being able to download mods, the ability to use cheat codes in something like Sims, the ease of screencapping is lovely too, as is the ability to easily move your files to another computer), but consoles are typically easier to play on in my experience.

And by that I mean I've never had any issues with a game not starting (unless the disc was messed up, which is a thing that can happen on PC too, if you're using a disc), and had less game breaking bugs (though that's really luck of the draw, because lots of console games have terrible bugs as well). I prefer controllers to a mouse and keyboard combo too (doesn't make my hand cramp), though I know you can use a controller with your PC. (I think I should give it a try next time I play Dragon Age, actually...)

Oh yeah I love Steam and the ease of buying games on there, and the variety too and some games are better suited towards the PC I find as well. Borderlands being an example of this, a good fun game but man I cannot imagine playing that on a console without fucking it up(and I mess up a bit anyway because me and FPS's do not gel typically).

Man I can never tell if one system is more buggy than the other since I bug out/glitch every game I play at least once, they're all the same to me! Yeah I don't think either platform is superior to the other but I am waaaaaaay more used to consoles that PC's so it means that 9/10 I'll get a game on a console rather than the PC(if I have the choice).

I agree that some games are better suited to PC. Dragon Age for instance, I couldn't imagine playing on a console. Then again, maybe it wouldn't be that bad; I played KOTOR on a console and it went fine.

It just depends on the game, and everyone has their preferences. I find FPS games on consoles ideal, but not everyone is going to feel that way.

Having options is a good thing.
