Actually, a tinhat is an RPS shipper who believes the couple is together for reals. Like I think L'Arc~en~Ciel's band members, and Yoshiki and Miyavi are.

Nope, it's someone who CAN say that, but in many cases, just says "here's my proof (however good or bad it is) that X and Y are together in real life."

It can happen in het (Dan/Emma shippers) or in slash (I'm a Yoshiki/Miyavi shipper myself)
