There's been a recent bout of wank, somewhat directly related to a friend of mine. It's the first taste I've gotten of D.Gray-man fandom, believe me (I haven't even picked up the manga), but it sure is nasty. I... won't be approaching that fandom anytime soon.

Ahem, as I was saying, I've stayed out of the fandom because I ship barely anything and the main characters really aren't all that interesting to me (XD;; I'm weird, I know), but... what on earth could they have to wank about? O_O Besides shipping that is. S-So confused.

Seriously, I don't know, and it's been driving me crazy all this time. Found it in a random icon dump somewhere, the creator didn't list the source. Oh well, hawt ass is hawt BD

The way that wank in DGM has been broken down to me is just like secret 12 says: there some BNF-ish writers in the fandom who take it upon themselves to police the quality of fanwork, while at the same time complaining about the lack of fic(?). As a result, newcomers have been driven out of the fandom -- and trust me, if I'd received the same treatment as the person I know, I wouldn't be coming back. I just... I don't know. Wow, now I feel bad for being so hard on KHFFR :3

.... :/ Yeah, that'd drive me out of fandom, or at least into hiding; I mean I wouldn't want to share fic with people like that. WTF. That's just depressing. D:< SIGH. At least KHFFR kept to their own corner. We don't POLICE, we just entertain ourselves from afar. ):

Thanks for DL link! BD I found the first 6 volumes by myself, but got stumped on the rest. And mind? Pft, no. Hope you don't mind me being pretty much persona non grata in most circles, what with my, uh, Axel/Roxas-loving ways (no, seriously, I have to warn people about this because they always seem kind of surprised) and every now and then breaking out into a rant about DOGS fandom not appreciating Naoto. I think that's all the caveat we need for today.

I also seem to remember you being one of the only two KimiSasu appreciaters in the Naruto fandom -- the other one being, well, me.

No prob. I need to catch up on the series really badly, myself. XD;; LOL I have the same problem for the opposite fact that I ship some of the most obscure crack this side of the universe; and o DOGS fandom. I'm not that into the manga these days, but for some reason I stick with it; habit, I suppose. XD

As a warning from this side, I tend to skip fandoms at light speed, and currently my journal is full of GUNDAAAAAAAAM!!!111one or G00, which you may have seen a pile of secrets for recently on this comm, in fact. So. Yes. Gundamspam. XDDD
