Oh I know! Heck, I really did like the ending, and everything turned out great. But throughout the whole thing I had this silent hope that the "Tutu is not meant for the Prince" part of the story would be broken too.

Totally with you on that one. Loved the ending, don't think I'd change it, but when I broke down in tears over the last episode... well, part of it was over the general awesomeness of it, and part of it was because of the one letdown in the middle of so much hope. :(

(Also, I was kind of slain by the scene between Autor and Rue where he's all "BUT I LOVE YOU AND I'M NOT EVEN THE PRINCE", and if there's a better way to break a story than a princess and a bit character running away together, I'd like to hear it.)

You know, I adore Mytho/Rue, and I sometimes even call it my OTP, but...

That version of the ending? With Autor and Rue ending up together?

...That'd probably make me happy, too. Poor Autor has the worst luck. He deserves SOMETHING going his way.
