1. I can't see it, but it appears to be an idea for a Redwall RP. So, just so you know, I would be all over that RP like a junkie with a 30 day withdrawal period. 8D I want a hedgehog, yissyiss.

37. =/ Using wank as entertainment bothers me a bit. Isn't there something more entertaining to do than to just... watch people be fucktards at each other? =/ I don't get the draw. Where's the fun part? I mean, it's all the same thing -- watching people complain over trivial things in their precious fandoms. In the end, the arguments all go the same way. Watching wank is more boring than watching the grass grow, emptying a well with an eyedropper, play ing Runescape, etc.

Someone tell me why wank is funny, please.

Internet arguments are funny because people are dumb.

(Honestly, I enjoy watching rhetoric, even shitty rhetoric, and reading other people's arguments has taught me a lot about what I believe and what makes a good argument and what tactics people commonly use.)

(Well... it's a learning exercise, then? I guess I can see where it would be interesting, and even fun at that. That still doesn't explain the whole "LOLLER STUPID ARGUMENT IS STUPID LOL LOL" phenomenon. =( Either I have a stunted sense of humor or wank is just not funny. 8D Well, I've been told often that I have the former, so I guess I'll stick with that. =3)

Yeah, well... I will admit, fandom arguments are very limited, but the whole "wank" phenomenon got me more into watching political arguments, arguments based around the quality of entertainment, academic arguments, and all that good stuff. And to be honest, wank is almost never truly funny. Sometimes people will say things during an argument, either because they are incredibly dumb or because they are incredibly smart, and those moments will be funny. But fandom-specific wank is pretty tedious these days (or it is to me, I don't know).

Interestingly, my mother does this same thing... except she does it with the radio. She listens to Michael Savage specifically to disagree with him and get all worked up. It cracked me up when I realized that.
