(Anonymous) 2007-12-12 03:18 pm (UTC)(link)I've watched several fandoms combat this 'overabundance of yaoi' with organized efforts to promote het ficathons, het communities and het story support by other het writers. those fandoms have florishing het fic activity.
so the lack of ability to change anything falls rather weak. at least you sort of imply that you choose not to try.
