so het as a genre of fiction (which involves heterosexuality) or better yet, the 'genre' of Harlequin Romance, which features heterosexuality and therefore is not a real life issue.

Mixing them up only end with even more bigotry and hate.

please to be telling that to the big fandoms on LJ these days. one only has to look back at the archives of metafandom to see how much these two don't mix with fandom at all. racism and misogyny for the win, yo!
