Yup, that's exactly how I am. I don't watch anymore, but back when I did I loved the thought of Peter/Neal. They had fantastic chemistry, but Elizabeth was just too awesome and good with Peter to ignore or break them up, and I never got the Neal/Elizabeth angle.

So I ended up just loving Peter/Elizabeth, and thinking that if things were different (I.E. Peter had never met Elizabeth, which is a pretty depressing thought tbh) Peter/Neal would totally be a thing.

(And yes, I'm aware neither character is shown to be bi, but whatever.)

I completely agree. And yes, I just can't buy the Neal/Elizabeth angle either - I think that's my biggest hangup with the threesome.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like Elizabeth almost treats Neal like she would a son. There's a lot of affection and warmth there, but I don't see it as romantic or sexual at all.

(I feel like I should clarify I have no problem with other people shipping it, I just can't get into it. And frankly I wish I could because all three parties are gorgeous people and have great chemistry.)

I agree with you, on all points. :)

I guess I can see them all in a fully informed V-relationship centered on Peter, but so far I haven't found good fic for that.

Had to google what a v relationship was, but having done that, I can see that easier than a relationship where an equal focus is put on Neal/Elizabeth.
