And the emotional-coaster keeps on going! Sakura breaks the fourth wall and tells the Sage what all Naruto fans have been thinking-that she's too tired and nothing surprises her anymore. The Sage compliments Kakashi, but he corrects the Sage and tells him he was basically useless and it was the others who sealed her. Naruto gets bored of this conversation and walks over to Kurama and asks if he missed him, to which Kurama flips him off like a true tsundere. The Sage comments on how he always wanted the tailed beasts to be like this-to find someone they'd help willingly and not against their will. Nowwwww, here's the first shipping war issue*, but I'll save that until last.

The Sage then talks to Kakashi and asks him about Obito, to which Kakashi has yet another damn conversation with Obito before he leaves to be with Rin. Kakashi then stumbles and Sakura catches him, and he comments that "Kakashi of the sharingan is no more". Sasuke looks shocked and then remembers Madara exists. He runs off to kill him, but the Sage stops him. He tells Sasuke that since he had a tailed beast ripped out of him, that he's good as dead and to just take a good look at predecessor.

Madara and Hashirama talk for the last time and it's kind of sweet, if not for the fact that Madara was controlled by a lie Black Zetsu made and his dream was a sham. (Madara doesn't know this, only Naruto/Sasuke do) They talk about their dreams and how they can only do so much alive, and Hashirama tells him that's why you need to leave things for the future generations to finish. Madara laughs and comments about how Hashirama is always so optimistic, and mentions that he should have been like him in the end. He tells Hashirama that his dream isn't dead. Hashirama tells him that he failed because he didn't nurture the ones who would follow him blahblah, it ends with Hashirama saying they're going to die as comrades and Madara agreeing. All the while Sasuke makes this sad puppy dog look and it's so offputting, because he hasn't really looked like this in along time. Who knows what he's thinking, though, as all he seems to say is '...'

The Sage then announces that he's taking his toys home and sending them all back. Naruto then runs to his dead and they have a heartfelt talk before he dies. Minato wishes him a happy birthday and tells him he'll tell Kushina about everything. Naruto then lists off all the things his mother wanted him to do and that she shouldn't worry. Here comes shipping war wank two**. Minato then disappears and leaves Naruto crying alone.

*Okay, so, Kishimoto and the awful paneling! When the Sage is talking about Naruto and the beasts, there are two small panels of Sakura and Sasuke. NaruSaku shippers say Sakura was looking at Naruto, SasuSaku shippers say she's looking at Sasuke, and I say he meant for her to be looking at Naruto but he forgot about placement. Sakura is facing the sage to his side, and the Sage looks over to his right at Kurama. Naruto then heads over to Kurama and the sage looks over to his right. Now, Sakura looks over to her right, which is to the left of the sage-and you can see this because he's floating-and his pinky is facing out towards his left, which means it isn't his right hand. This is why I hate shipping sometimes LOL. But yes, he forgot where Sakura was standing.

Sasuke, however, does look over to Sakura, which is really strange. Sasuke was facing the Sage from his left side, which means Naruto just walked in front of him to Kurama. But his eyes shift to the left, which is where Sakura is standing. It's...weird.

**This one is just as dumb. Naruto makes a non-statement about what his mother said about 'finding a woman like her' and he just changes the subject and says not everything is going like she wanted. NaruSaku shippers are fighting over this because they say it means he was thinking of Sakura but he still thinks Sakura loves Sasuke-And the NaruHina shippers say it means he isn't in love with a girl like his mother, etc. It's funny because it did make 631 a joke-Many NS shippers took his "Yeah more or less" comment as serious, and that Sakura and Naruto had secretly started dating before the war...(..no idea?) but ignored the comment next chapter about Naruto commenting about never joking with Sakura again. NaruHina shippers are jumping all over this and it's just one big clusterfuck over a comment that meant nothing.

Now I wonder why Kakashi's stumbled.

Huh, so that's where all Naruto-Minato stuff in my f-list is coming from.

Oh, because Obito left Kakashi's body so he lost the ghost eyes. At least I think that's why.

omg, what is with Kakashi and changing eyes? He had one Sharingan eye, then like two, now it's ghost eyes.

Urgh, the plot is too complicated.

haha ,I just call them ghost eyes because Obito had no body at that point-so it was weird that he was able to give Kakashi two sharingans.

Even with the help of your lovely and thorough recap, I officially just have no idea what the fuck is going on in this manga anymore. I'm so baffled.
