Honestly, seats in coach don't even recline all that far back. I can't help but think people who complain about reclining are being a bit dramatic. They only go back a couple of inches. It's not even close to the feeling of lying down, and I've never seen how it severely bites into your space.

You buy the right to recline with the ticket. Feel free.
