Re: Reclining on airplanes

I might recline about an inch -- just enough to rest my temple on the seat next to me if it's family sitting there... especially a sibling ;P. I don't recline all the way because I'm terrified of trapping someone like I once was. (I was sleeping with my head on the tray. I woke from being crushed by the seat, and they certainly hadn't be gentle about putting their seat back. They pretended not to notice even though there was thrashing and seat rocking while I tried to squeeze out. There was no apology. [Bitter? Me? Noooo...])

Other than that, it might be annoying if someone reclines, but it's not like you can really get mad at them. I think, anyway. Yea, they're cramming more of us in economy, but lately the only bonus of flying business or first class is getting to board first and get the "best" seats. But dammit, if I need to lay back some to sleep I'm gonna. It's damned uncomfortable enough already.
